Notice from the
Maine Forest Service:

What is your wood hiding?

Moving firewood can transport
exotic insects & diseases that pose
a serious threat to our forests.

What can YOU do?

Do not bring firewood from
outside the State of Maine.

Buy firewood from a local
source where you camp.

Do not transport firewood
distances greater than 50 miles,
even within Maine.

If you have already transported
firewood, do not leave it or bring
it home — burn it!

Here at Yonder Hill, we have a lot of fun events throughout the year! We're also close to many of the regional events, such as the Skowhegan State Fair.

Some of our regular events include:

  • Every Saturday we have a scavenger
hunt, crafts for kids and Bingo for adults.
  • Saturday night pot-luck supper or
    bean-hole beans!
  • Every weekend we have a wagon ride
for all, sometimes it gets wet & wild!
